Our guides are digital downloads

Every Coalface guide is a PDF. After you pay, we email you a download link straight away. The link also works from your order confirmation page.

No refunds once you start the download

When you buy, we ask you to tick a box to say you want your guide delivered immediately, and that you understand you lose your right to cancel once the download starts. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 allow this exception for digital content. So once you have started downloading a guide, we can’t refund it.

If you haven’t started the download

You can cancel within 14 days of buying, as long as you haven’t started the download. Email us at info@coalfaceguides.com with your order number and we will refund you in full.

If something is wrong with the file

This policy doesn’t affect your legal rights. If your guide won’t open, is damaged, or isn’t what we described, email us with your order number. We will send you a working copy. If we can’t fix the problem, we will refund you.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days of us agreeing to the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Download limit and lost links

Each purchase allows up to 3 downloads. If you lose the email or need another copy, contact us and we will help.
