These terms apply when you buy a guide from coalfaceguides.com. Please read them before you order.
Who we are
These guides are sold by Coalface Guides. Our address is 25 Cromwell Road, Cambridge CB1 3EB, UK. You can reach us at info@coalfaceguides.com.
What we sell
We sell step-by-step business guides as digital downloads (PDF files). Each guide is based on an interview with an entrepreneur who built the business it describes.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on each product page in US dollars. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order. We never see or store your full card number.
Delivery
We email you a download link as soon as your payment goes through, and you can also download from your order confirmation page. Each purchase allows up to 3 downloads. If you have a problem, contact us.
Your right to cancel
Your right to cancel, and the exception for digital downloads, are explained in our refund policy. At checkout you tick a box to say you want immediate delivery and understand you lose the right to cancel once the download starts.
Using your guide
When you buy a guide, you get a personal licence to read and use it for yourself. Please don’t share the file, resell it, post it online or pass it to anyone else. The text and design remain ours.
Results are not guaranteed
The guides describe the experiences of individual entrepreneurs. They are for education and information only. Their results are not typical and are not a promise of yours. What you earn, if anything, depends on many things, including your background, skills, effort, market conditions and timing. We make no guarantees about income or business results. Do your own research and take professional advice, such as legal, tax or financial advice, when you need it.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don’t exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to exclude. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that applied when you placed your order are the ones that apply to that order.

Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
